Driving between Las Vegas and Reno Nevada on Hwy 95, you come across the strange little semi - abandoned town of Goldfield. I often wonder what people do for a living here because really, there is pretty much nothing around for miles. This spooky town is very close to the infamous and kinda creepy Area 51. Abandoned cars in the streets and yards, abandoned homes, storage containers out in the open, deserted buildings, closed businesses all boarded up...it just seems so weird when you come from a large city environment! We LOVE it though...it's so unique! Just one of the many crazy sights you'll come across exploring the Nevada desert...truly...there is nothing quite like it! ~Kenneth King Bear

Amazing places around the world where you need to travel to. Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg --------------------------------------------------------------- Description: We are all well aware of the Seven Wonders of the World, which vary between man-made spectacles of nature and what Mother Earth has created on her own. But believe it or not, the Seven Wonders seem to upstage other beautiful and incredible locations around the world. They are so surreal, that you will think that maybe they are perhaps from a painting, or a glimpse from a person’s imagination. Whether you’re a world traveler, or a homebody, do yourself a favor and go out to see these places before you die. You definitely will not regret it. But what exactly should you go out and see and where do you start? For example, in Norway, there is a place called Trolltunga, and it was created over 10,000 years ago and is a rather popular destination for hikers and bikers. If you’re afraid of heights, then you might want to avoid this place, as there is nothing stopping you from falling into the foggy abyss as it is 1,100 meters above sea level and 700 meters above the lake it towers over. Interestingly enough, Trolltunga has seen no fatalities so far. In Australia, there is a pink body of water called Lake Hillier that spans 600 meters long and 250 meters side. The lake is a saline lake, and is rather popular amongst tourists and locals alike. The pink color has remained a mystery for a while, and the water stays pink even if you take some out of it. It is speculated that it is algae that makes the water turn its pink color. But if you need something a little cooler, then head on over to Alaska to the Mendenhall Ice Caves and are located under the 12 mile long Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau, Alaska. But you might want to make a rush visit since global warming has already caused part of the cave to collapse. Not to mention that you also have to kayak and ice climb to also reach the ice caves. In Mexico, there is the Cenotes de Yucatan, where there are over 7,000 sinkholes thanks to the collapse of the landscape’s limestone. The waters in the Yucatan Peninsula are crystal clear, making the location extremely popular amongst scuba divers. The area has vast caves and secret passageways and caves…all under water. In Turkey, there is the Palmukkale, which is a natural spot in the country made up of 17 hot springs and travertine ranging from 35 to 100 degrees Celsius. People love to visit Palmukkale because they can bathe in the hot springs, which has been a practice for thousands of years. Fly Geyser looks like it was taken out of a painting, but it was really created by accident from a drilling incident in 1964. Minerals upon minerals piled on top of the site, creating a colorful geyser that is a popular tourist destination in Nevada. But be careful, you can only access it from a private road. In Belize, there is a place called the Great Blue Hole, which Jacques Cousteau declared it as one of the best scuba diving site being 300 meters long and 124 meters deep. These are just a few of the amazing surreal sites that you have to see before you die. So, take a look at the video and be prepared to be amazed. --------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheRichest.org Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheRichest_Com Instagram: http://instagram.com/therichest --------------------------------------------------------------- Featuring: Everyone knows about the Seven Wonders of the World, but what about some of the lesser known and more treacherous locations to visit? From pink lakes to underground water caves, these locations are stunning and dangerous, but well worth the trip just for the spectacular view. These are the most surreal places on earth that you must see before you die. --------------------------------------------------------------- Music Track: State of Calm - Gareth Johnson --------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.therichest.com/

From the largest opal in the world to amazing sights like dangerous fire whirls to the strange Australian Pink lake! Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr Colored Mountains 7. The colored mountains in China are an excellent symbol of beauty in our world. These mountains flow with color and vibrancy that is not seen in many other places on our planet. These mountains were made from sandstone, and it is exceptionally rare for a geological formation to come up with this sort of coloration. It is a result of overlapping colors of sandstone being pushed together for millions of years. Australian Pink Lake 6. This pink lake is an amazing occurrence that is located on the coast of Australia. It is not always pink, but when conditions are right the algae and brine shrimp in the lake begin to turn red, which subsequently turns the lake pink. The salt level in the lake has to be very high for this to occur, but it does occur quite regularly. This lake is a wonder of nature with amazing properties that are not common in most of the natural world. The Spotted Lake 5. The spotted lake is an alkaline lake located in Canada. It has a strange look to it, with large multicolored disks, seemingly forming on its surface. However, they are actually not on the surface, in fact, this is what the lake looks like when parts of it are dried up. The alkaline mixed with the mineral concentrations cause the lake to be very easily evaporable and refillable, so when the weather is right, big holes evaporate out of the lake, leaving these spots. The colors are a result of the various minerals present in the lake. The Door to Hell 4. The Door to Hell is a result of natural phenomena, but it is not a natural occurrence itself. It is located on a natural gas field in Turkmenistan and in 1971, this section of it collapsed. The scientists who were studying it at the time were a bit too careless and to be blunt about it, they set it on fire. This fire pit has been burning for over 40 years now, making it the longest burning fire in recorded history for quite a long time. The chances are that this fire will be burning for many years to come. Giant Opal 3. In this image, you see the world’s largest opal that has ever been found. Opals are exceedingly rare gems that are only found in very specific parts of the world. One of these locations is the state of Nevada, where the world’s only known concentration of black opals resides. This opal is massive, and it is nearly 55,000 carats in size. Its value is estimated at over a million dollars, and it is certainly a rare and beautiful occurrence in nature. Bioluminescence 2. Bioluminescence is a rarely seen, but commonly occurring thing in our world. The reason we rarely see it is because it occurs in the ocean. However, sometimes it washes up to shore where we can observe it in close detail. It is primarily the emission of light by an organism. The organism that causes this most frequently is Vibrio bacteria and certain types of plankton. This creates a vibrant and blue glow that lights up the night with a heavenly aura from the sea. There are other animals that are capable of bioluminescence, a good example of these would be fireflies. For a very long time, people could not accurately explain what these glowing lights were that came from the sea and washed up on shore. Eventually, someone decided to fish one of these little twinkles out of the water, though, and we discovered something about our world that is truly fascinating. Aurora Borealis 1. Most people have heard of the Northern Lights and a large number of people have seen them as well. The Aurora borealis is caused by radiation at the poles of our planet. The concentration of this radiation in our atmosphere can be attributed to the magnetic poles of our planet and most people do not know this, but they are very deadly. If you were to walk directly through the Northern Lights you would die very quickly of painful radiation poisoning. Despite this, they are a beautiful occurrence in our world and we have been admiring them since the dawn of man. Some people have viewed them as the heavens while others have viewed them as scientific phenomena. Regardless of how you view them though, they are unquestionably beautiful and like everything else on this list, they are unique and rare occurrence that can only be observed with fascination and awe.

Located in Wimberley,Texas, Jacob's Well is an artesian spring that enchants visitors with its intricate system of underwater caves and limestone cliffs. Its cave descends downwards, reaching an average depth of 120 feet. For many adventure-seeking outsiders, the cool, clean, and clear waters of Jacob's Well offers relief from the hot Texan sun...but it comes at a price. Considered one of the most dangerous diving spots in the world, the depths of the waters can easily swallow anyone alive. This, however, has not stopped daredevil open-water divers from risking their lives by plunging into its seemingly never-ending hole. Taking the dive requires experience with specialized techniques and cave diving equipment, since there is a high risk of getting lost in the caves deep down. Otherwise you might as well just swim close to the surface like most visitors do. To this day, eight diver deaths have been recorded at the site. 9: The Danakil Desert In the northern end of Africa's Great Rift Valley lies the Danakil Desert in Ethiopia, one of the hottest places on the surface of the planet. It's one of the most inhospitable places known to man, with daytime temperatures exceeding 122°F (or 50°C). Volcanoes and earthquakes continually rip the ground apart, spewing lava and noxious gases, and giving the place its name "the gateway to Hell". The idea that anyone would actually live here seems absurd, yet people have been inhabiting the place continuously for thousands of years. As salt traders, natives make regular two-day long treks on camels to collect salt. One interesting note about the native Danakils is that they used to have a reputation of cutting off unwanted visitors' testicles; although nowadays the practice has stopped. The proximity of the region to Eritrea's borders also makes it a dangerous place for visitors. In 2012, five European tourists were filled and four others bid trapped by African revel groups near a volcano in the area. 8: Madidi National Park Bolivia's Madidi National Park has long been considered the most biologically diverse protected area on the planet, with new wildlife species being frequently discovered in the area. But in the middle of such a steamy tropical rainforest, there's bound to be plenty of creatures above you in the food chain. As beautiful as the place may be, the diverse species have developed different types of poison to protect themselves: toxic moths, flesh-eating maggots, and skin-eating fungi to name a few. Direct contact with the park's plants leads to severe itching, rash, and dizziness. Any small wound or cut can quickly get infected by parasites. Visitors will also get the chance to experience wild animals such as snakes, jaguars, and bears; all of which prey on humans. The wild pigs are among the worst; known to literally tear human visitors apart, leaving them strewn across the park floor in pieces. 7: Death Valley Death Valley is a stunningly beautiful desert surrounded by mountains. Located in eastern California near the Nevada border, Death Valley seems like something out of this world with its alien-like topography and scorching heat. You might have experienced hot and dry places, but none can compare to what is considered Earth's natural oven. During the summers, Death Valley commonly experiences temperatures above 120°F (or 49°C), with its highest recorded temperature reaching a staggering 134°F (or 56.7°C). The blazing sun and searing heat would quickly dehydrate and exhaust anyone, and without water, death would come within less than 14 hours. Despite that, the place is continuously visited by tourists. Many deaths have been recorded in the past for those not honoring the valley's extreme climate. In August of 2016 for example, 40-year-old Linda Hung took a turn into Death Valley and got her car stuck in the sand. She then walked off to get help, but collapsed just five miles away from the car, where rescuers later found her tread body. 6: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Famous for its legendary carnivals and festivals, Rio may seem like a great place for a holiday. With its soaring mountains and white sandy beaches, the Brazilian city manages to attract millions

14 Unbelievable parks, resorts, & even islands in construction & being designed by amazing architects that develop amazing things Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 8. Dallas Urban Nature Park Dallas, Texas is home to one of the largest sections of public nature in the country and is set to have the nation’s largest urban nature park. The area known as the Trinity River Corridor is home to ten thousand acres of forest, lakes and developed places like the Texas Horse Park and The Trinity River Audubon Center. Three large but disconnected projects are happening in the corridor and once developers finish them and the city recognizes the developments as unified Dallas will become known as one of America’s greenest cities. 7. Summit Powder Mountain A group of young entrepreneurs is in the process of developing an area in Utah that they hope to turn into a ten-thousand-acre state of the art ski community in the coming years. Plans call for 500 single family homes that will be ski-accessible as well as miles of trails and cultural amenities. All of this is part of a community that developers call a next generation alpine town. The area lies in one of the largest ski territories in the country and in a region where Utah, Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming meet. 6. Elvis Presley’s Memphis Next March a $45 million two-hundred thousand square foot entertainment complex will open. Exhibits dedicated to the King and his musical influences as well as restaurants and performance venues will also lie in the compound. A 20,000 square foot museum called Elvis: The Entertainer, which anchors the entire project will also open its doors for the first time. Presley Motors, an automobile museum with vehicles owned by Elvis is also going to open. The area will be across the street from The Guest House at Graceland, a 450 room resort. 5. Jatayu Nature Park Currently, under construction, this breathtaking nature park in India promises to be one of the most amazing in the world when it's complete. Reaching across 65 acres of land the park will have a 6D theater and an audio-visual based digital museum. The park gets its name from the mythical bird who died saving Sita in the classic tale Ramayana. A sculpture of Jatayu is under construction in the park that will become the largest in the world. The planned artwork will be 200 feet long 70 feet high and will take up fifteen thousand square feet of floor area. 4. Pandora Coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the summer of 2017 is this Avatar themed area. Pandora will feature an intense ride called Flight of Passage and Na’Vi River Journey, a boat experience intended for the whole family. Floating mountains, or boulders with grass on top of them being held up by steel beams, can be seen from the Animal Kingdom parking lot. The team that is building the area took their job very seriously. They traveled to caves in Thailand and Central America to study bioluminescence, which is how creatures emit light in the movie. Developers also went to rainforests in Hawaii to make sure the trees of Pandora looked real. 3. Cempedak Island Twenty beautiful villas made entirely of bamboo and each containing a pool will be available to those with good connections and deep enough pockets starting next March. Construction began in 2014, and a crew of 60 have been living and working on Cempedak Island to complete the project since then. The island is located two and a half hours from Singapore in Indonesia and contains granite boulders and fantastic views of the surroundings. 2. Dawang Mountain Resort Construction of this futuristic resort takes place as China prepares to host the Winter Olympics in 2022. The country hopes that the presence of the Olympics and this remarkable compound will combine to create a new generation of winter sports enthusiasts. The resort will hold a water park, an indoor ski area, and a 200-foot waterfall. The most notable building in the development is a 330-foot tall tower that will hold a 5-star hotel. The whole complex is being built over what was once an abandoned quarry. While the resort was supposed to be complete by this year, there is currently no set date for its opening. 1. The World Islands While this group of human-made islands that form the shape of the world lies in the Persian Gulf, only a few have anything on them. The ambitious project started in 2003 and had faced many difficulties since then. Development stalled in 2008 due to a lack of financing. Evidence recently suggested that the islands are slowly falling into the sea. Many of the islands have been sold off to private contractors, and a group began developing the European islands in 2014.
